Personal Statement about Training Program:
Focusing is a beautiful, subtle yet powerful skill. After over 20 years of personal and professional Focusing work and play, I value the process more than ever and love to help others learn (or rather remember!) how to listen to and dialogue with what the body knows. Much of my Focusing teaching has been in three contexts: My work with childbearing families, integrated self healing techniques, and energy psychology. Focusing and EFT are wonderful partners, each deepening and increasing the effectiveness of the other. Come and learn or deepen your skills in this beautiful rural setting if you can; telephone sessions are also available.

A Sample of my Work:
'Listening to the heart is a very real, physiologic as well as spiritual process. But how? We have been taught to separate our body and brain, taught to exalt the mind over the emotions, taught to view Love as just an emotion and the heart as just a pump. The brain in your body and the brain in your head are designed and intended to work in a harmonious, mutually responsive state of interaction, but we have been habituated into thinking only from the neck up, or conversely to reacting without thinking.'
